HIIT your goals with our Combat Fitness Class
High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) is scientifically proven to help burn more calories and lose weight more effectively the basic cardio workouts. Our Combat fitness program has helped many of our students and family members lose multiple clothing sizes and, in many cases, relieve body aches and pains caused by inactivity or prior injuries.
This time-based workout program combines body weight calisthenics with light weight training and punching bag drills. With emphasis on proper form and consistency this program will help you improve your balance, flexibility, strength and endurance. Because this program is time-based and easily modified it is suitable for all ages, including elderly students. Many of our students over the age of 55 have reported reduction in back, knee, hip, shoulder or neck pain within a month or 2 of beginning this program.
Incorporating punching bag drills into this workout makes this program great source for stress relief and a way to learn basic self-defense combos, especially when combined with our Krav Maga Program. As an expert in traditional Tae Kwon Do, our instructors provide detailed instruction and constant supervision to insure our students are learning and using proper technique to prevent training injuries.
